Representation for these matters will be charged on a fixed fee basis and the information below is based on a typical guilty plea and sentencing.

The fee does not include:
Instruction of any expert witnesses

Disbursements in respect of our mileage/travel expenses in attending court. Mileage is charged at 45p per mile. Parking fees and/or costs of public transport will also be charged as appropriate. These disbursements generally attract VAT at 20%.
Extra hearings - if this is required on separate dates due to circumstances beyond our control, each separate hearing will be charged at £350 plus VAT (charged at 20%)
For Court hearings outside of our local area of Luton, we will charge an extra £50 per hour plus VAT (charged at 20%) for time spent travelling to Court in addition to disbursemnets such as mileage and parking.

We will conduct any further preparatory work, obtain further instructions from you if necessary and answer any follow up queries you have
We cannot provide a timescale of when your hearing will take place, as this depends on the court listing for that day
We will attend court on the day and meet with you before going before the court. We anticipate being at court for half a day, but may be longer depending on the court listing
We will discuss the outcome with you. If advice is required on appeal, this will carry an additional cost.
